- Accomplishments as a Bretscher Multisport athlete:

- Overall age group champion: 2010 Muskoka 70.3
- Has set PRs in every distance raced (1:59-olympic, 4:14-half, 9:20-Ironman, 2:42-marathon)
- PRs prior to joining Bretscher Multisport (2:09-olympic, 4:20-half, 13:xx-Ironman, 2:52-marathon)
- Favorite triathlon moment: Finishing as the first amateur overall at the Muskoka 70.3 race in 2010 which qualified me for the 70.3 World Championships, all coming by way of a sprint finish.
- Embarrassing Tri Moment: The first triathlon I ever raced in I decided to borrow a wetsuit from a friend of mine who had completed a race the summer before. The wetsuit he gave me was a 2 piece jet-skiing wetsuit. Long story short, the suit was much too large for me and as soon as I started swimming, the upper portion of the suit filled up with air and it made it impossible for me to swim with my head in the water. I looked like I was swimming with a life jacket on underneath my suit. Needless to say, I had to swim the entire .25 mile swim breaststroke. What a way to start off my triathlon career, it's amazing that after that I stuck with the sport.
- Favorite race: Ironman Muskoka 70.3 ... the Canadians love when people invade their town for a triathlon, seriously they do! I've never felt so welcomed in my life than I am when I travel to Huntsville, Ontario in September.
- Fun facts: Among many things I'm borderline OCD about cleanliness and order in my life.
- 2012 Race schedule:
- Rev3 Knoxville
- Ironman Muncie 70.3
- Rev3 Wisconsin Dells
- Rev3 Cedar Point
- Several Local Races as well
- Testimonial:
I have been racing triathlons and road races for nearly 10 years before I met Daniel. During this time, I compiled results that I was satisfied with using researched based, but still, self-taught coaching methods. In only one year, thanks to Daniel's wealth of training and racing knowledge in all multisport disciplines, I was able to make gains in every aspect of training and racing and I've set substantial personal records in every distance of triathlon and road racing I compete in.
